Fastest-Growing Cities

The median price for a single-family home in Gilbert is around $220,000, compared with more than $387,000 in Boston and $641,000 in San Francisco.

And I thought Worcester was pricey! Gilbert, AZ is apparently the fastest growing city in the nation. AZ has two cities in the top ten, as does Florida, but California has three.

Sure, AZ is growing fast, mostly due to cost of living (which makes it attractive to both individuals and businesses). But there's a reason it's cheap. Have you ever visitted Phoenix (which if memory serves, Gilbert is a suburb of)?? The air quality is about the same as LA, and the summers are unbearably hot for most sane people.
